President Asif Ali Zardari has conferred Nishan-e-Pakistan award on Saudi Defence Minister Prince Khalid Bin Salman Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud in recognition of his meritorious services for promotion of bilateral relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia especially in the sphere of defence. The investiture ceremony held at Aiwan-e-Sadr in Islamabad was attended amongst others by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif and the services chiefs. Source: Radio Pakistan
Pakistan Day: CM Punjab urges unity to address challenges
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has said that Pakistan Day is the day to reiterate our commitment and love for the motherland. In her message on the occasion of Pakistan Day, she emphasized the need to work with the passion to ensure progress and prosperity of the country. She paid rich tributes to the All India Muslim League leadership for their efforts regarding the Pakistan Resolution in 1940.
