Pak Army organizes Teachers Seminar in North Waziristan

A Teachers Seminar titled "Elm Toolo Da Para" was organized by Pakistan Army at Tehsil Miran Shah of North Waziristan district. The aim of arranging seminar was to shed light on the importance of teachers and their role in transforming the lives of students. General Officer Commanding of Pakistan Army in North Waziristan, Major General Anjum Riaz also addressed the seminar. The speakers appreciated Pakistan Army for its efforts in imparting education and providing training to male and female students of the merged areas in different educational fields. Air Chief, Commander Bahrain National Guard discuss various areas of shared interest

Commander Bahrain National Guard General Sheikh Mohammed Bin Isa Bin Salman Al-Khalifa called on Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu in Islamabad. During the meeting, various areas of shared interest aimed at bolstering government-to-government cooperation in the realm of emerging technologies emphasis on drone technology and collaboration within the cyber and networking domains were discussed. Air Chief stressed the deep-rooted brotherly relations between both nations. The visiting dignitary praised the exceptional professionalism of PAF personnel and the remarkable progress achieved by Pakistan Air Force. Commander Bahrain National Guard also visited PAF Cyber Command where he was briefed about the operational capabilities of Pakistan Air Force. Expressing profound interest in the strides made by PAF in the cyber domain, the visiting dignitary conveyed his intention to dispatch a specialized team to PAF to assess and address any existing gaps within the emerging technologies architecture of the Bahrain Armed Forces. Pakistan’s Envoy pays first official visit to Capital of Jamaica

Pakistan's Ambassador to the United States Masood Khan has made his first official visit to Kingston, the capital of Jamaica in Caribbean Sea, and presented his diplomatic credentials as non-resident Ambassador of Pakistan to Governor General of Jamaica, Sir Patrick Linton Allen. The Ambassador, in a tweet on X platform, said that it was an honor to meet Sir Patrick Allen as he is a symbol of unity in the Caribbean region along with being a religious leader, educationist and cricketer. He reiterated his commitment that he will work with the Governor General to strengthen bilateral relationship between Pakistan and Jamaica. Earlier, the Ambassador met with Jamaica's Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Ms. Kamina Johnson Smith and discussed bilateral trade, mutual cooperation at the United Nations and Pakistan's membership at other platforms, climate change, issues related to sea, peace and other important affairs during the meeting. The Ambassador said that the cooperation framework agreement bet ween Pakistan and Jamaica will be finalized soon. He appreciated Ms. Kamina's efforts to revive international cricket in Pakistan. The Ambassador of Pakistan also visited Parliament of Jamaica and heard the budget speech of Minister of Finance and Public Service of Jamaica Nigel Clarke. France expresses interest to invest in Pakistan’s energy sector

France has expressed interest to invest in the energy sector of Pakistan. The interest was expressed by a French delegation headed by its Deputy Head of Mission Guillaume Dabouis during a meeting with Minister of Energy Dr. Musadik Masood Malik in Islamabad. The French officials expressed keen interest in investing in various aspects of Pakistan's energy landscape, ranging from LNG cargo provision to energy resource exploration and projects aimed at enhancing energy trading, distribution and transmission within the country. Additionally, the French delegation conveyed their interest in initiatives directed towards reducing line losses and revitalizing Pakistan's energy sector as a whole. The Minister of Energy reiterated the commitment to address the country's longstanding energy challenges. NLC, SIFC organize Reefer Truck Transit

Reefer Truck Transit has been initiated under the auspices of National Logistics Cell (NLC) and Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC). Under this, sixteen trucks from the National Logistics Cell (NLC) carrying Kinos arrived in two Russian cities. With this, Pakistan has started exporting fruits to Russia through nearly six thousand kilometer land route. The truck reached Russia in eighteen days via Iran and Azerbaijan instead of Afghanistan. Earlier, Pakistan used to export Kinos to Russia by sea which took months to reach the destination. During reefer truck transit, the temperature is maintained to keep the Kinos fresher for a longer period. Meanwhile, Russia has appreciated the efforts of National Logistics Cell and Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) to promote bilateral trade between the two countries. The launch of the direct transit service has reshaped the trade relationship between the two countries, with immense business opportunities and the potential to increase bilateral trade to twenty billion dollars. PM lauds Qatar’s contribution to peace efforts in Gaza

Ambassador of Qatar Ali Mubarak Ali Essa Al-Khater called on Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad on Thursday. Shehbaz Sharif thanked Amir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani and Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani for their warm messages of felicitations on his re-election as Prime Minister. The Prime Minister said Pakistan is proud of its close, fraternal relationship with Qatar, with bilateral ties having the potential to grow even stronger and meaningful, particularly in the areas of economy, trade and investment. He highlighted that the Special Investment Facilitation Council that was established during his previous tenure as Prime Minister, is now functioning as an efficient and productive mechanism. It is ensuring that foreign investors are able to benefit from investment opportunities in Pakistan's key sectors like agriculture, Information Technology, mining and minerals as well as renewable energy. T he Prime Minister lauded Qatar's contribution to peace efforts in Gaza. He said it is disappointing that violence is continuing in Gaza even during the holy month of Ramadan. Shehbaz Sharif fondly recalled his official visits to Qatar in August 2022 and March 2023. He extended an invitation to the Amir of Qatar to undertake an official visit to Pakistan and said the people of Pakistan look forward to welcoming him in the near future.
