Winners Announced in 16th Annual Stevie® Awards for Sales & Customer Service

New Categories for 2022 Recognize Thought Leadership

Winners have been announced in the 16th annual Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service.

More than 2,300 entries were considered in over 90 categories for sales, customer service, and contact center achievements.

FAIRFAX, Va., March 01, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Winners in the 16th annual Stevie® Awards for Sales & Customer Service, recognized as the world’s top customer service awards and sales awards, were announced today. Stevie Award winners will be celebrated during a virtual awards ceremony on May 11.

More than 2,300 nominations from organizations in 51 nations were considered in this year’s competition. Gold, Silver, and Bronze Stevie Award winners were determined by the average scores of more than 150 professionals on eight specialized judging committees. 100,000 Digital Franchise Post Offices to be established across country: Murad

Minister for Communications Murad Saeed has said one hundred thousand Digital Franchise Post Offices will be established across the country to provide better services to the people.

Addressing a ceremony in Islamabad on Tuesday, he said seven hundred and fifty Digital Franchise Post Offices have already been established to access the far flung areas and compete with the private sector.

He said the establishment of more Digital Franchise Post Offices will provide employment and business opportunities to the youth.

Murad Saeed said we have started electronic money order, Urgent Mail Service and Tracking services.

He said a logistics company of Pakistan Post will also be established which will further bolster its revenue.

He said Pakistan Post has been steered out of deficit because of innovative steps taken over the last three years.

National economy heading towards right direction due to prudent economic policies: Fawad

Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain says industrial package announced by the government will help strengthen industrial sector and create new job opportunities in the country.

Talking to newsmen in Lahore today (Tuesday), he said the government is providing easy loans to youth for initiating business.

The Information Minister said national economy is heading towards right direction due to prudent economic policies of the government.

He said the government has revived the textile industry and launched projects to strengthen construction and agriculture sectors.

Chaudhry Fawad Hussain said the government tackled the post-corona situation successfully, and global financial institutions also acknowledged the measures taken by Pakistan to contain the pandemic.

Pakistan, UAE vow to further enhance bilateral ties in various fields

Pakistan and the UAE have expressed the commitment to further enhance bilateral cooperation in various fields including trade, investment and religious tourism.

The understanding came at a meeting between Finance Minister Shaukat Tarin and Ambassador of the UAE Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Al-Zaabi in Islamabad on Tuesday.

The two sides expressed contentment over the prevailing stronger relations between the two countries.

Shaukat Tarin highlighted the initiatives taken by the government for ensuring economic development in the country.

The UAE's Ambassador said that his country greatly values its bilateral relations with Pakistan.

Sohail Mahmood emphasizes Int’l community’s engagement to address crises in Afghanistan

Pakistan has reaffirmed its commitment to a peaceful, stable and connected Afghanistan and highlighted efforts in support of this goal.

Talking to Australia's Special Representative on Afghanistan Daniel Sloper in Islamabad today Foreign Secretary Sohail Mahmood stressed that the international community's engagement and assistance would be critical in helping the Afghan people address the urgent humanitarian and economic crises.

He further emphasized the importance of a common regional approach to advance shared objectives and highlighted Pakistan's initiatives and contributions in this context.

The Australian Special Representative shared Australia's views on various aspects of the situation in Afghanistan. He also appreciated Pakistan's role in facilitating the international evacuation efforts.
