Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH) is practical example to follow in life for Muslims: Ahsan

Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives, Ahsan Iqbal has said the global message of respect for humanity from Riasat-e-Madina attracted humanity towards Islam.

He was addressing at the 4th International Seerat Conference at Punjab University in Lahore.

He said that Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH) is a practical example to follow in life for Muslims.

He said that we, as a nation, firmly believe in principles and teachings of Seerat-e-Tayyaba (PBUH).

Marriyum rejects criticism of PTI on appointment of caretaker Punjab CM

Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb says the appointment of Mohsin Naqvi as caretaker Chief Minister Punjab has been made in accordance with the law and constitution.

In a tweet on Monday, she rejected the criticism of PTI on the matter saying there will be no longer selection but elections.

Ministry of Industries, Production holds mobile device manufacturing summit on Jan 24

A mobile device manufacturing summit is being held in Islamabad on Tuesday, targeting export of mobile phones and promoting ease of doing business in Pakistan.

The summit is being held under the auspices of the Ministry of Industries and Production in collaboration with Pakistan mobile phone manufacturers association.

The summit will be accompanied with an exhibition of technology and products by the members of association including Xiaomi, Realmi, Infinix, Tecno, Itel, Alcatel, G-Five, Oppo, Vivo, and Premier Code.

The exhibition will be opened for targeted general public from three p.m. to six p.m.

The purpose of organizing this summit cum exhibition is to get input from all the relevant stakeholders to boost local assembly of mobile devices through enhancing investment and employment opportunities in this sector.

The mobile device manufacturing sector is expected to benefit from this summit as it will facilitate further collaborations with international counterparts, which may enhance competitiveness of the sector.
