Punjab Govt to launch Rescue 1122 Air Ambulance service in high risk areas

Punjab government has decided to launch Rescue 1122 Air Ambulance service in the high risk areas of the province.

Director General Rescue 1122 Dr Rizwan Naseer while talking to PTV news said Punjab government is taking all possible steps to further improve the rescue services. He said that Emergency Service is responding over 1000 road traffic accidents in all districts on daily basis.

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar says the PTI government has set a new example by introducing reforms in different sectors in a shot span of time.

In a statement in Lahore today, he said the PTI ended political interference in government departments.

Governors of Sindh, Punjab discuss development initiatives of federal Govt in both provinces

Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar held a meeting with Governor Sindh Imran Ismail in Karachi today.

During the meeting, they discussed various issues of importance, including development initiatives of the federal government for both provinces.

Speaking on the occasion, Punjab Governor said special attention is being paid for improvement of education, health and infrastructure in Punjab province.

Sindh Governor said federal government is taking effective steps for development of Karachi.

First ever cancer hospital in Gilgit completed at a cost of Rs2. 56 b

The first ever Cancer Hospital in Gilgit, completed at a cost of 2. 56 billion rupees which will become functional from next month.

Our Gilgit correspondent Sher Muhammad reports that it is the 19th cancer hospital set up by Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission in the country.

The facility is a state-of-the-art double story hospital equipped with modern machinery for treatment of cancer patients.
