Notification of monitoring committee regarding implementation of austerity policy issued

The notification of the monitoring committee regarding the implementation of austerity and austerity policy has been issued.

According to the Prime Minister Office, the committee will review the implementation of the decisions taken regarding austerity in the meeting of the Federal Cabinet on 22nd of this month.

The Principal Accounting Officer of each federal ministry, division and department will submit proposals regarding the implementation of the decisions by tomorrow.

Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, Minister for Federal Education Rana Tanveer Hussain, Minister for Information Technology Syed Amin-ul-Haque, Law Minister Azam Nazir Tarar and Minister for National Food Security Tariq Bashir Cheema, Advisor on Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Qamar Zaman Kaira and Minister of State for Power Division Muhammad Hashim Notezai are included in the committee.

Minister for National Health Services, Regulations, and Coordination, Abdul Qadir Patel has said the government is working on a comprehensive plan for the complete eradication of various diseases from the country, for the purpose; all available resources would be utilized

Addressing the annual meeting of the Federal Directorate of Immunization in Islamabad on Sunday, he said that effective measures are being adopted to make further improvements in the national immunization program.

The Minister said that a collaborative strategy is being formulated to ensure 100 percent results, by reaching everyone during every immunization drive in the country.

He said that repeated immunizations have protected millions of children, allowing almost many countries in the world to become free from various diseases.

Chinese company gifts sports shoes to flood victims of Pakistan

A Chinese company has gifted sports shoes worth thirty-eight million rupees to help flood-affected people of Pakistan.

According to China Leather Industry Association, the company launched an initiative named “Put on Chinese Shoes, Rebuild New Home” in January.

The company, one of the leading sports brand companies in China, took action to express its care for the flood affected people in Pakistan.

Pakistan’s Ambassador to China Moin-ul-Haque has expressed his sincere thanks to the company for their generous help to the flood-stricken groups in Pakistan.

He said the donation made him felt once again the warmth of the Chinese people towards the Pakistani people.
