Senate, NA to meet on Monday

Sessions of the Senate and the National Assembly are being held separately at the Parliament House in Islamabad on Monday.

The Upper House will meet at 11 a.m, while the Lower House will resume at five in the evening.

Besides legislative business, both the Houses will discuss matters of national and international importance.

Pakistan stands with quake-hit people of Turkiye, Syria: Janjua

Pakistan High Commissioner to Canada Zaheer A. Janjua has urged Pakistani diaspora to make generous donations for their brothers and sisters affected by the devastating earthquake in Turkiye and Syria.

He was addressing a fundraising event, organized by the International Development Relief Foundation in Ottawa.

The High Commissioner said the people of Pakistan stand in solidarity with their Turkish and Syrian brethren in the wake of the devastating earthquake.

He said Pakistan's National Disaster Management Authority is actively engaged in mobilizing all available resources to support relief efforts in Turkiye and Syria.

FM, EU Vice President discuss regional, international issues

Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari met with the Vice President of the European Union Josep Borrell on the sidelines of Munich Security Conference in Germany on Sunday.

Speaking on the occasion, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said Pakistan attaches great importance to its relations with the European Union.

The two sides agreed to promote multilateral relations and exchanged views on international and regional issues.
