US Acknowledges Pakistan’s Efforts for Regional Stability

Islamabad: The US Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs, Paul Kapur, has appreciated Pakistan's role in promoting regional peace and stability. He conveyed this sentiment during a meeting with Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi in Islamabad.

According to Radio Pakistan, the discussions between the two officials covered a range of topics, including bilateral relations and the ongoing situation in the Middle East. Both sides explored opportunities to enhance cooperation in areas such as security, counter-terrorism, and anti-narcotics efforts.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi expressed optimism for a peaceful resolution to the Middle East conflict. He emphasized that the relationship between Pakistan and the United States is rooted in mutual trust and cooperation, which has been further reinforced during President Donald Trump's administration.

Naqvi assured that the government provides robust security measures for US companies involved in the Reko Diq project. Additionally, he highlighted Pakistan's eagerness to initiate direct flights between the two nations at the earliest opportunity.
