SCO CFM meeting starts in Goa India

SCO Foreign Ministers' meeting is being held in Goa, India today to deliberate upon agenda for for the SCO Leaders' Summit to be held in July in New Delhi

Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is representing Pakistan in the meeting.

The agenda, which focusese on sharing of advanced technology and digital infrastructure also includes discussions on various regional, security, and political issues.

The expansion of the group to include Iran and Belarus is one of the main items on the agenda of the one-day meeting as Iran and Belarus are expected to be inducted into the SCO at the New Delhi summit.

The Indian foreign ministry official said Kuwait, Myanmar, the United Arab Emirates and Maldives are likely to be granted the status of dialogue partners ahead of full membership.
