New York:Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Nepal's Foreign Minister Shisir Khanal held a meeting during the 81st Session of the UN General Assembly.

According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting focused on strengthening bilateral relations and exploring avenues for further cooperation, specifically through Political Consultations and Economic Consultations mechanisms.

Ishaq Dar expressed condolences to Nepal for the recent flash floods, affirming Pakistan's support during this challenging period. In response, Shisir Khanal thanked Pakistan for its solidarity and detailed the impact of the floods on Nepal's population and infrastructure.

The leaders also discussed regional and global issues of mutual interest, emphasizing the need for continued collaboration at multilateral platforms like the UN and SAARC. Both parties committed to maintaining contact to advance their bilateral cooperation.
