Iran hands over 113 illegal immigrants to Pakistan

Iranian authorities handed over 113 Pakistani illegal migrants to the local administration at Taftan border in Chagai district today (Sunday).

According to official sources, these people were arrested in different parts of Iran for not having valid traveling documents.

LG elections in province to be held on party basis: Murad

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has said the local government elections in the province will be held on party basis.

Talking to media persons in Sehwan today (Sunday), he said Sindh government have some reservations on census data and evidences to this effect have already been presented to Council of Common Interests.

AJK election commission requests troops to provide secure environment during elections

Azad Jammu and Kashmir Election Commission has requested Pakistan Army to provide secure environment during the elections for Legislative Assembly on Sunday.

According to ISPR, Army troops will be deployed on Quick Reaction Force mode from today to Monday as per article 245 of the constitution.

Azad Jammu and Kashmir Police, and Civil Armed Forces, including Rangers and FC, will be employed for smooth and peaceful conduct of the elections.

Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain says that expecting wisdom from political novices like Maryam Nawaz would be like constructing a channel of milk.

In a tweet, the minister said that Maryam Nawaz had never read a book in her life and she had no habit of reading and research.

He said all the emphasis of the PML-N leadership was to oppose Prime Minister Imran Khan.
