Australian High Commissioner Neil Hawkins visited the office of Southern Punjab secretariat in Multan on Monday and met Additional Chief Secretary Southern Punjab Saqib Zafar.

Speaking on the occasion, the ambassador said that his country is providing technical assistance in researching hybrid seeds in Pakistan while solving the problem of salt water in Southern Punjab.

On this occasion, Additional Chief Secretary Southern Punjab said Southern Punjab Secretariat has been established to speed up the pace of development in this region and in the last two years there has been a lot of speed in the construction of infrastructure.
