PM Shehbaz arrives in Makkah to perform Umrah

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has arrived in Makkah Mukarama from Madina to perform Umrah. The members of federal cabinet including Ishaq Dar, Khawaja Asif, Muhammad Aurangzeb, Abdul Aleem Khan, Attaullah Tarar and Ahad Cheema are accompanying the Prime Minister. Earlier, the Prime Minister offered Isha prayers and nawafil at Masjid-e-Nabvi and paid respects at Roza-e-Rasool (PBUH). He especially prayed for progress and prosperity of Muslim Ummah and nation. He also made special prayers for oppressed Muslims of Palestine and Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. During the visit of Saudi Arabia , Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will also meet Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz and discuss issues of mutual interest. PM expresses grief, sorrow over demise of renowned bureaucrat Javed Mehmood

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the demise of former Chief Secretary Punjab and renowned bureaucrat Javed Mehmood. In a condolence message from Makkah, he commiserated with the bereaved family and prayed the Almighty Allah to grant higher status in heaven to the departed soul. Pak Army organizes annual prize distribution ceremony in North Waziristan

Under the drive 'Knowledge for everyone', the annual prize distribution ceremony was organized by the Pakistan Army at Government Middle School Ayaz Kot Khushali, North Waziristan. For the new academic year, parents and teachers were encouraged to enroll their children. During the event, students expressed their love for education, school and Pakistan through speeches. At the end of the ceremony, school bags, stationery and other prizes were distributed among all the students. Punjab University Discovers Another Fake Housing Society Under Its Name

A third fake housing development, purportedly affiliated with Punjab University, was uncovered, as reported by 24News. According to the report, certain employees, operating under the guise of the Punjab University Administrative and Technical Staff Association, began marketing documents under the name of Education City Lahore. This university personnel is unlawfully leveraging the university's name, emblem, and facilities to promote 'Education City Lahore'. The university has clarified that it has neither authorized nor endorsed any such private venture and has cautioned against engaging in any transactions associated with this project. The housing venture was launched without proper approval from the Punjab University administration and syndicate. Furthermore, the employees have distanced themselves from 'Education City Lahore' similar to their disassociation from 'PU Town 2'. Previously, a counterfeit development named 'PU Town 2' was established under the guise of Punjab University. In response to the se developments, Punjab University has reiterated its commitment to upholding transparency, accountability, and ethical standards in all its dealings. It has vowed to take appropriate legal and administrative actions against those found complicit in perpetrating such fraudulent schemes. Moreover, the university has urged stakeholders, including students, faculty, staff, and the general public, to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities or unauthorized use of the university's name or resources. Norway removes Pakistan from its national threat assessment list

Norway has removed Pakistan from its national threat assessment list. The removal became possible only through successful diplomacy of Pakistan. The announcement to this effect was made in the latest report of the Norwegian Police Security Service. Pakistan and some other countries were being added to this list for the past several years.
