Get Ready to Witness the Launch of OPPO F21 Pro with the Industry’s First Fiberglass Leather Design

OPPO the global technology innovator is set to unleash its most anticipated smartphone, the OPPO F21 Pro on April 11th, 2022. The new F21 Pro is about to unleash multiple “Pakistan’s first” technology that brings smartphone experience to new heights.

This new addition is crafted with the industry’s first integrated fiberglass leather design paired up with an eye-striking sunset orange hue to refresh the color philosophy. Its unique flat-edge design steals the show for its aesthetically pleasing appearance.

The fantastic design of the new OPPO F21 Pro is a result of the company’s continuous efforts to optimize and lead the CMF (Color, Material, and Finish) technology.

To reflect the self-expression of the youth, the upcoming OPPO F Series revolutionized the design language of the OPPO F Series with a bold oversized camera setup, refined flat-edge design, vibrant Sunset Orange color, and the flagship leatherette material.

This season, OPPO has also adopted colors onto their palette and brought them out into technology in a strikingly bold and vibrant way.

To celebrate the design concept of the OPPO F21 Pro, OPPO has partnered with the talented young artists Noor-un-Nahar and Areeba Siddique, the representatives of the next generation of art creators to explore the seasonal color palette, and a fusion of ideas.

The idea of the art pieces was extracted from the wild imaginations of the talented children at the Agosh Orphanage by Al Khidmat-Foundation.

Building on the idea of “Fusion is Fantastic”, the children at Agosh learned how to fuse colors, textures, and styles into creating their own original art pieces, and express themselves freely.

Furthermore, the art pieces co-created by the artists and the children at the orphanage were further crafted into the creation of “The Fantastic Box”.

OPPO sophisticatedly designed ‘The Fantastic Box’ to spread the word of harmony and love among the people by encouraging the efforts made by these young heroes that have been witnessed in the heart-warming artwork.

In the spirit of Ramadan, OPPO hopes to pass down artistic freedom and share joyous moments with more people. The company believes in the power of the next generation and wants the world to see how talented the youth can be.

OPPO has always pushed avenues for its users to communicate with one another in a language of love, art, and kindness.

Building on the legacy of the classic OPPO F series, the company continues to explore and innovate with new technologies and aesthetics. OPPO F21 Pro launch will reinforce the company’s dedication to art and technology.

We guess the price of the OPPO F series to be around PKR 55,000 to 60,000.

FTO Directs Pak Suzuki to Refund Excessive Excise Duty to 24 Complaints

The Federal Tax Ombudsman (FTO) has given directives for the refunding of Excessive Excise Duty to 24 complaints by the Large Taxpayers’ Office (LTO) Karachi in the Pak Suzuki Motor Company case.

A total of 24 complaints were filed against the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Islamabad and Pak Suzuki Motor Company Limited for 17 percent sales tax on the purchase of Suzuki Cultus 998 cc vehicles after July 2021 instead of 12.5 percent which was the actual rate at that time. In this way, the taxpayers had to pay more than what was actually due.

The FTO had declared that collection of the sales tax in excess of being legislated in the Finance Act 2021 and the delay in settling the tax refund were tantamount to maladministration. The President of Pakistan had upheld the decision and rejected the FBR’s pleas against the recommendation for a refund.

Representatives of LTO Karachi and Pak Suzuki Motor Company have agreed to resolve the issue under the following implementations:

i. Pak Suzuki will furnish the refund claims to LTO Karachi in respect of the refund due to the subject complaint as per the list provided by the FTO office.

ii. The refund claim will be accompanied by the relevant invoices and proof of tax paid on these invoices.

iii. After receiving the refund claim, LTO Karachi will process it as per law and issue a refund to Pak Suzuki Motor Company.

iv. Pak Suzuki Motor Company will then remit the amount to all the complainants in accordance with their due shares and will submit its proof of payment to LTO Karachi and the FTO Office for the final implementation of the order.

v. The FTO, Dr. Asif Mahmood Jah, had directed Advisor Income Tax Karachi to hold meetings with the stakeholders for the smooth implementation of the recommendations in the complaints of overcharge of tax by M/s Pak Suzuki.

Philippines Reevaluates ‘Faulty’ BrahMos Missile Deal With India After Pakistan Fiasco

The Philippines Defense Ministry, on Tuesday, summoned the Indian ambassador for clarification on the “accidental firing” of the BrahMos missile into Pakistan.

Indian ambassador, Shambhu S. Kumaran, was asked to explain what happened with the BrahMos missile on the night of 9 March. The ambassador was asked if the nuclear-capable missiles are ‘faulty’ and if the Philippines should review the BrahMos deal with India.

The Philippines had signed a $328 million deal to buy three batteries of the BrahMos missile from India.

The Indian ambassador told the Philippines Defense Minister that there is no technical issue with BrahMos missiles. He also informed the minister that an investigation is being carried out, and the report will be shared with the Philippines once it is available.

India had ‘accidentally’ fired the BrahMos missile into Pakistan on the night of 9 March 2022.

On 11 March, the Indian Ministry of Defence admitted that the “high-speed flying object” that had landed in Pakistan on 9 March, was in fact a missile that had been “accidentally fired” due to a “technical malfunction.”

This missile is believed to be a BrahMos, even though the Indian defense ministry had not specified the missile that was misfired.
