PM convenes meeting of PTI core committee in Islamabad on Thursday

Prime Minister Imran Khan has convened a meeting of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf core committee in Islamabad tomorrow [Thursday].

In a statement, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain said the meeting will be taken into confidence on Kamyab Pakistan, Ehsaas and Sehat Insaf Card programs.

PM and Chairman Senate, Balochistan CM discuss development issues

Chairman Senate Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani and Chief Minister Balochistan Abdul Quddus Bizenjo called on Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad on Wednesday.

During the meeting, views were exchanged on development issues in the province including provision of electricity to Gwadar and timely completion of development projects.

They also discussed matters pertaining to uninterrupted gas supply to the province in winter season and construction of Quetta-Karachi highway.

Mainly cold, dry weather expected in most parts of country

Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during the next twelve hours.

However, smog and fog are likely to intensify in plain areas of Punjab during night and morning hours.

Temperature of some major cities recorded this morning:

Islamabad six degree centigrade, Lahore eleven, Karachi nineteen, Peshawar seven, Quetta four, Murree three, Gilgit minus one and Muzaffarabad five degree centigrade.

According to Met office forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, cold and partly cloudy weather is expected in Srinagar, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian and Baramula, cold and dry in Jammu while very cold and partly cloudy weather in Leh.

Temperature recorded this morning: Srinagar minus one degree centigrade, Jammu nine, Leh minus six, Pulwama, Anantnag and Baramulla zero and Shopian one degree centigrade.
