UNGA President Welcomes Ceasefire Agreement Between India and Pakistan


New York: President of the UN General Assembly Philemon Yang has welcomed the ceasefire agreement between India and Pakistan. In a statement, he urged continued diplomatic efforts and dialogue to resolve differences and achieve lasting peace and stability in line with the UN Charter and international law.



According to Radio Pakistan, Yang emphasized the importance of sustained communication and collaboration between the two nations to ensure that the ceasefire holds. He highlighted the critical role of international mediation and support in fostering a conducive environment for peace talks.
