North Waziristan: Security forces have successfully eliminated 54 Khwarij in a precise engagement in the North Waziristan District.
According to Radio Pakistan, the security forces detected the movement of a large group of Khwarij attempting to infiltrate through the Pakistan-Afghanistan border during the nights of Friday and Saturday in the general area of Hassan Khel, North Waziristan.
The troops engaged effectively, thwarting the infiltration attempt and eliminating all members of the group. A significant cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives was also recovered from the deceased Khwarij.
The security forces’ actions prevented a potential catastrophe, marking the highest number of Khwarij killed in a single engagement. Intelligence reports suggested that the group was infiltrating on the behest of their “foreign masters” to conduct high-profile terrorist activities within Pakistan.
The actions by Fitna al Khwarij, coinciding with India’s baseless accusations against Pakistan, indicate the cues under which this ‘Fitna’ operates. Such acts are deemed as treason and betrayal against the state and its citizens.
A recent National Security Committee meeting emphasized that India’s strategic intent seems to be distracting Pakistan’s security forces from their focus on the war against terror, providing a respite to Fitna-al Khwarij, who are struggling under the Armed Forces’ offensive.
The Security Forces of Pakistan remain committed to defending the nation’s borders and eradicating terrorism. These decisive actions reinforce the collective resolve and demonstrate that Pakistan is achieving significant successes in the war against terrorism.
