Saudi Delegation in Islamabad to Review Hajj Arrangements


Islamabad: A forty-five member delegation has arrived in Pakistan to review the arrangements under the Road to Makkah project. Upon the arrival, officials from the Ministry of Religious Affairs welcomed the delegation at the Islamabad International Airport.



According to Radio Pakistan, a total of fifty thousand and five hundred intending pilgrims will go to Saudi Arabia through flights from Pakistan under the Road to Makkah project. Counters will be set up at Islamabad and Karachi airports for Hajj pilgrims, while the process of immigration of Pakistani pilgrims will also be completed in Pakistan instead of Saudi Arabia.
