Rawalpindi: Pakistan Railways conducted a major operation against encroachments in Railway division, Rawalpindi. The operation, carried out with full support of civil administration, Railway Police, and Anti-Encroachment staff, aimed at recovering valuable railway land.

According to Radio Pakistan, approximately 14 kanals of land were illegally occupied, with an estimated worth in millions of rupees. In a statement, Minister for Railways Hanif Abbasi emphasized that the government will not allow anyone to occupy railway land. He stated that this operation is being conducted solely for the rule of law, the improvement of the railway system, and the benefit of the public.

Abbasi also mentioned that such operations will be conducted across the entire country to recover all illegally occupied railway lands.
