Punjab Government Plans 1,400 New Bus Shelters Across 19 Districts


Lahore: Punjab Government has decided to set up about fourteen hundred bus shelters in nineteen districts to facilitate commuters.



According to Radio Pakistan, the decision was taken at a meeting chaired by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz in Lahore. The initiative aims to provide convenience to passengers by offering modernized and aesthetically pleasing bus shelters, which are expected to enhance the overall appearance of the cities.



The meeting, led by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, emphasized the importance of these infrastructures in improving daily commutes and urban landscapes. The proposed bus shelters will serve as a significant step towards improving public transport facilities in the region.
