Punjab: Punjab Police are continuing the province-wide evacuation of illegally residing foreign nationals. According to Radio Pakistan, over thirty-one thousand Afghan nationals have so far been deported, while about two hundred individuals are currently housed at various holding centres. The spokesperson said a total of forty-six holding centres are operational across the province. Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr Usman Anwar stated that all necessary arrangements had been made at holding centres to ensure dignified treatment and facilitation of those being evacuated.
