Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have commended the security forces for successfully thwarting an infiltration attempt by Fitna-al-Khawarij terrorists from Afghanistan. In their separate statements, both leaders expressed their admiration for the exceptional professionalism demonstrated by the security forces, which enabled them to intercept the terrorists in a timely manner.
According to Radio Pakistan, President Zardari highlighted the prevention of the terrorist infiltration as a significant achievement and reiterated the nation’s unwavering commitment to eradicate terrorism from the country. He emphasized the importance of national unity in supporting the security forces in their ongoing battle against terrorism.
Prime Minister Sharif also echoed this sentiment, asserting that Pakistan’s security forces remain steadfast in their resolve to protect the nation’s borders and eliminate the threat of terrorism. He remarked that the success of such operations is indicative of Pakistan’s progress in overcoming terrorism.
