Kuwait: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif exchanged Eid ul Adha greetings with Crown Prince of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah on Saturday. During their warm and cordial telephone call, the Prime Minister conveyed felicitations to Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah as well as to the people of Kuwait. The two leaders prayed for peace and prosperity of the Ummah.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister expressed gratitude to the Crown Prince for Kuwait’s balanced stance in support of peace and dialogue during the recent crisis between Pakistan and India. He emphasized Pakistan’s long-standing desire for regional peace. The Prime Minister also renewed his invitation to the Crown Prince to visit Pakistan, which was graciously accepted.
The discussion further touched on the enhancement of bilateral economic, investment, and trade cooperation. The Prime Minister particularly thanked Kuwait for easing visa facilitation for Pakistani nationals, which is expected to boost people-to-people exchanges and the import of skilled manpower to Kuwait.
Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah warmly reciprocated the Prime Minister’s Eid greetings and conveyed best wishes for the people of Pakistan. He acknowledged the positive contribution of the Pakistani community in Kuwait and expressed a commitment to further strengthening the bilateral ties between the two nations.
