PM Thanks Allies for Support on 27th Constitutional Amendment


Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has applauded and thanked all coalition parties for their support and cooperation in the process of the 27th Constitutional Amendment.



According to Radio Pakistan, he was addressing a banquet hosted at the Prime Minister House, Islamabad, in honor of government and coalition Senators. The Prime Minister expressed gratitude to President Asif Ali Zardari, leaders of all coalition parties, and Senators for their collective efforts.



He highlighted that the collaboration among coalition parties was pivotal for the Constitutional Amendment, which aims to strengthen the federation, promote inter-provincial harmony, improve governance, and serve the broader interests of the country. The Prime Minister emphasized that all coalition parties fully supported this national initiative.



Shehbaz Sharif further noted that the milestones achieved throughout their tenure are a result of joint efforts and the support of coalition partners. He remarked that Pakistan’s diplomatic achievements and international esteem are reflections of unity across their ranks.



The Prime Minister also pointed out the gradually improving economic situation, attributing it to political stability. He emphasized the importance of continued collaboration for the development and prosperity of the country.
