PITB inked an agreement with United Bank Limited (UBL) as Partner/Settlement Bank for PayZen, a digital technology solution for Non-Account-1 Receipts & Payments. PITB Director General IT-Operations (IT-Ops) Faisal Yousaf and UBL Head Digital Money & Financial Inclusion Tughral Aamir Turab Ali signed the agreement.
The agreement enumerates the service standards for credit/debit of proceeds from collection/disbursement of PayZen Customers in the account maintained with Partner Bank.
Representatives from PITB including Additional Director General (ADG) Khurram Mushtaq and Project Director Haroon Rasul Khokhar were present. Senior officials from UBL were Head Institutions Faisal Hussain, Cluster Head Lahore Amman Channa, Head of Branch Banking Punjab North Zakaria Naseem Mir, Head of Operations Punjab North Kamran Ahmed Sheikh and Zonal Manager Rural Banking Muhammad Arif Naeem.
