Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has said Pakistan offers lucrative investment opportunities in diverse fields. He was talking to a delegation of World Liberty Financial led by its Co-Chairman Zach Witkoff, which called on him in Islamabad on Sunday.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister stated that Pakistan is one of the fastest-growing cryptocurrency adoption economies in the world. He highlighted the potential of the country’s talented youth in promoting cryptocurrency within Pakistan. The Prime Minister informed the delegation that work is rapidly underway to formulate rules and regulations to promote alternative methods of economic transactions such as cryptocurrency in the country.

Speaking on the occasion, Zach Witkoff mentioned that Pakistan is one of the world’s fastest-growing economies, offering attractive investment opportunities for global investors in the natural resources sector. He acknowledged Pakistan’s potential to join the ranks of leading countries not only in the region but also globally.

Zach Witkoff also appreciated Pakistan’s key role in establishing peace in the region and at an international level. The delegation expressed interest in investing to promote the cryptocurrency sector in Pakistan.

Deputy Prime Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir, Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, Minister for Economic Affairs Ahad Khan Cheema, and other authorities concerned were also present in the meeting.
