Pakistan and Bahrain to Form Joint Working Group on Trade and Investment

Islamabad:Pakistan and Bahrain have agreed to establish a Joint Working Group focused on trade and investment as part of their ongoing bilateral cooperation efforts.

According to Radio Pakistan, the decision was formalized during a signing ceremony in Islamabad, where Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Bahrain's Foreign Minister signed the protocol documenting the Minutes of the 3rd Session of the Pakistan-Bahrain Joint Ministerial Commission.

The recorded Minutes reflect mutual understandings on collaboration across various sectors, including agriculture, food security, oil, gas, minerals, maritime affairs, information technology, telecommunications, health, education, and labor. The Joint Working Group will serve as an institutional mechanism for regular consultations, coordination, and cooperation on trade and investment between the two countries.
