MQM Delegation Discusses Constitutional Amendment with PM


Islamabad: A seven-member delegation of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement, led by convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, met with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad today to discuss the proposed twenty-seventh constitutional amendment.



According to Radio Pakistan, the delegation included Kamran Khan Tessori, Minister for Health Syed Mustafa Kamal, and Members of the National Assembly Dr. Farooq Sattar, Javed Hanif Khan, Syed Amin ul Haq, and Khawaja Izharul Hassan. They engaged with the Prime Minister to deliberate on the key aspects of the proposed constitutional change.



The meeting was also attended by several high-profile government officials including Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar, Minister for Economic Affairs Ahad Khan Cheema, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, and Adviser to the Prime Minister Rana Sanaullah.
