Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has launched the 'Plant for Pakistan' drive by planting a sapling at Punjab House. On this occasion, she said that trees are friends of humans and they beautify the soil. The Chief Minister said that the survival of human beings is integrated with the trees in this world. She said that forests can play a key role in reducing environmental pollution in the country, while climate change and increasing temperatures could be mitigated by forests.
