Karachi: President Asif Ali Zardari has announced that the learning of Chinese language is expanding rapidly across Pakistan, particularly in universities where structured teaching programs are now well established.
According to Radio Pakistan, President Zardari highlighted in his message on United Nations Chinese Language Day that this growth extends to specialized training for personnel working in public service roles that involve coordination with Chinese nationals. Such instruction supports clearer communication and more effective working arrangements on the ground.
The President emphasized that for many young people, learning Chinese is increasingly linked to opportunities in education, trade, and technical cooperation. He noted that it provides a practical skill that can support engagement with Chinese companies, scholarship programs, and joint projects across different sectors.
Asif Ali Zardari further stated that the focus should remain on accessible, structured language education that addresses real needs and strengthens practical cooperation between the two countries.
