Islamabad: The government has announced the launch of a new nationwide program titled AI Seekho 2026. This initiative is designed to enhance skills across the country, offering participants the chance to connect with National Incubation Centers, the Pakistan Startup Fund, and global platforms to create economic opportunities.
According to Radio Pakistan, Minister for Information Technology Shaza Fatima highlighted that Pakistan has prioritized artificial intelligence and crafted its first National AI Policy. The government's ambitious goal is to train one million young people in AI, with a focus on including non-technical individuals in this educational push.
Minister Fatima further explained that AI Seekho, supported by Google, aims to upskill over one hundred thousand developers. This effort is part of a broader strategy to prepare the workforce for the future, ensuring that Pakistan's youth are equipped to engage with emerging technologies and contribute to the country's economic growth.
