Islamabad Police Implements Security Measures for Eid-ul-Adha Cattle Markets

Islamabad: Deputy Inspector General Islamabad Police Muhammad Jawad Tariq has announced a comprehensive security plan to safeguard cattle markets and deter criminal activities in the federal capital.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Islamabad Police have deployed over fifteen hundred officers and personnel to ensure the security of cattle markets set up for Eid-ul-Adha. In addition, traffic police officers are assigned to maintain the smooth flow of traffic around these areas.

The DIG emphasized that patrolling units, including the Capital Patrol and local police stations, have been directed to ensure a prompt emergency response. He also advised citizens to use designated parking spaces and warned of strict actions against unauthorized market setups not approved by the district administration.
