Indian Sikh Yatrees reach Pakistan through Wagah Border to attend birth anniversary of Baba Guru Nanak

The arrival of 3000 Sikh Yatrees from India is continuing at Wagah Border in Lahore to attend the 552nd birth anniversary of Baba Guru Nanak Dev Jee. Chairman Evacuee Trust Property Board Dr. Aamer Ahmed and other high officials welcoming the Sikh Yatrees at Wagah Border.

Talking to media Dr. Aamer Ahmed along with group leader of Sikh Yatrees at Wagah, Joga Singh, assured that the board will provide foolproof security, transport, accommodation and other facilities to the visiting Sikh pilgrims.

On his part, Joga Singh said Sikh pilgrims have come to Pakistan with the message of love, peace, friendship and harmony.

He said Sikh Gurus born in Pakistan this Sikhs love this land.

He also expressed gratitude to the government of Pakistan and people for their love for granting visas to the Sikh pilgrims.
