New york: Pakistan has accused India of descending into a majoritarian autocracy where minorities, including Muslims, Christians, and Dalits, allegedly live under siege. This statement was delivered at the United Nations General Assembly by Rabia Ijaz, Second Secretary at the Pakistan Mission.
According to Radio Pakistan, Rabia Ijaz responded to an Indian statement at the UNGA by asserting that Jammu and Kashmir never was, nor is, an integral part of India. She emphasized that the United Nations recognizes it as a disputed territory. Rabia Ijaz further accused India of sponsoring terrorism, citing incidents such as the 2014 Army Public School massacre and a recent school bus attack in Khuzdar, attributing these events to the involvement of Indian intelligence agencies.
Rabia Ijaz claimed that India persists in a covert war against Pakistan by supporting groups like the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA). She argued that these actions are indicative of India’s alleged aggression and interference in Pakistan’s internal matters.
