Hot, Dry Weather to Prevail Across Most of the Country


Islamabad: Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during the next twelve hours. However, partly cloudy weather accompanied by windstorms or thunderstorms and rain is anticipated at isolated locations in Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Upper/Central Punjab. There might be moderate to heavy rain or hailstorms in a few places during this period.



According to Radio Pakistan, the temperatures recorded in major cities this morning were: Islamabad at twenty-one degrees centigrade, Lahore at twenty-seven, Karachi at twenty-nine, Peshawar at twenty-three, Quetta at nineteen, Gilgit and Murree at twelve, and Muzaffarabad at fifteen degrees centigrade.



The weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir indicates partly cloudy weather with possible rain and wind thunderstorms in Srinagar, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula. In Jammu, there is a likelihood of partly cloudy weather with rain and wind thunderstorms during the evening and night.



The recorded temperatures this morning in the region were: Srinagar, Anantnag, and Shopian at thirteen degrees centigrade, Jammu at twenty-four, Leh at eight, and Pulwama and Baramula at fourteen degrees centigrade.
