Lahore: Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has underlined the importance of a joint strategy for an environment-friendly policy in the country. He emphasized the crucial role of enhancing investment in green technologies as a necessary step to control pollution while addressing the Green Productivity 2.0 Conference at Lahore University of Management Sciences.

According to Radio Pakistan, Ahsan Iqbal highlighted that adopting environment-friendly technologies in the industrial sector can significantly reduce air pollution. He stressed the urgent need to prioritize these investments for the betterment of the environment.

The Minister also spoke about the transformative impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI), stating that it is opening new avenues in the education, health, and industrial sectors. He mentioned that AI is playing a decisive role in global competitiveness and is providing innovative directions for research and database analysis.
