Election Commission of Pakistan has postponed the local government elections in Islamabad Capital Territory.
A five member bench of the Commission headed by Chief Election Commissioner Sikander Sultan Raja announced the verdict in a case regarding the matter in Islamabad today. The elections were scheduled to be held on 31st of this month.
