Islamabad: The Election Commission of Pakistan has notified the names of returned candidates against the reserved seats for women and non-Muslims in the National Assembly, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, and Sindh assemblies.
According to Radio Pakistan, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz secured 13 seats, Pakistan People’s Party Parliamentarians obtained four, and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Pakistan gained two seats in the National Assembly.
In the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, JUI secured ten seats, with PML-N and PPPP obtaining seven each, while Awami National Party managed to secure one seat. In the Punjab Assembly, 23 seats went to PML-N, two to PPPP, and one each to Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party and Pakistan Muslim League.
In Sindh’s provincial assembly, PPPP was able to secure two seats, whereas the Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan managed to win one seat.
