DPM Engages with International Counterparts on Global and Regional Issues


Abu dhabi: Deputy Prime Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar engaged in discussions with leaders from Poland, Belgium, and Luxembourg at the Sir Bani Yas Forum in the UAE, focusing on regional and global challenges.



According to Radio Pakistan, during his interaction with Radoslaw Sikorski, the Deputy Prime Minister of Poland, Dar addressed current global issues. In a separate meeting with Maxime Prevot, the Deputy Prime Minister from Belgium, the talks revolved around the current state of European Union-Pakistan relations and the potential for enhanced cooperation between the two countries. Dar also met with his Luxembourg counterpart, Bettel Xavier, to discuss ongoing global challenges.



Furthermore, Dar held discussions with Jeyhun Bayramov, the Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan, where regional and bilateral matters of mutual interest were on the agenda. David Miliband, the former Foreign Secretary of the United Kingdom and current President and CEO of the International Rescue Committee, also met with Dar to discuss global humanitarian aid, relief, and development efforts.
