Death toll from Israeli airstrikes on Gaza strip rises to 30

The death toll in continued and unabated Israeli air strikes and rocket attacks at Gaza has risen to 30 including six children and more than two hundred injured.

The Israeli military says this latest operation could last for a week.

Meanwhile, dozens of Palestinians have been arrested in raids across the occupied West Bank.

Palestine Islamic Jihad group in a statement said the blood of martyrs will not be wasted.

Hamas has also issued strong statements saying that resistance groups are united.

The UN humanitarian chief for the occupied Palestinian territories, Lynn Hastings, urged the warring sides to allow “fuel, food, and medical supplies” to be delivered to Gaza amid the worsening crisis.
