Islamabad: Mainly cold and dry weather is expected over most parts of the country during the next twelve hours, with very cold conditions in hilly areas. Moderate to dense fog is likely to persist over Punjab, upper Sindh, and plain areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to Radio Pakistan, the temperatures recorded this morning in major cities were Islamabad at three degrees centigrade, Peshawar at four, Lahore at six, Karachi at thirteen, Quetta and Muzaffarabad at one, Gilgit at minus-six, and Murree at zero degrees centigrade.
The weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir predicts very cold and dry conditions in Srinagar, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula, while Jammu is expected to experience cold and foggy conditions. The temperatures recorded this morning were minus-four degrees centigrade in Srinagar, Baramula, and Pulwama, six in Jammu, minus-twelve in Leh, and minus-three in Shopian and Anantnag.
