Bassam Karanouh visits FonGrow agriculture and Livestock farm

Bassam Karanouh, a partner of Dubai Based Company Caballero Foods visited the FonGrow agriculture and Livestock farm in Khanewal. The purpose of the visit was to explore the sustainable supply chain in the global meat market as well as promote bilateral trade ties with Gulf countries. On this occasion, it was informed that FonGrow, a livestock company, aims to secure food at the national level and explore import substitution by exploring new avenues for exports. FonGrow is improving the quality of agricultural commodities to boost export volume as well as improving the breed, which will also benefit the farmer. Highlighting the expertise of FonGrow, it was informed that the process of In Vitro Fertilization is being used in which an egg is fertilized outside the uterus of female cattle in the laboratory, resulting in the creation of multiple offspring from a healthy animal's ovum. ECC approves proposals about natural gas pricing

Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb presided over a meeting of the Economic Coordination Committee in Islamabad. The meeting was attended by the Minister for Petroleum Mr. Musadik Masood Malik, Minister for Power Sardar Awais Ahmad Khan Leghari, Minister of State for Finance and Revenue Ali Pervez Malik, representatives from Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority, Federal Secretaries, and other senior officers of the relevant ministries. MPCL completes several projects in Balochistan

The initiative to transfer economic benefits from Balochistan's natural resources to the local population is currently in progress. In this regard, Mari Petroleum Company Limited has completed several projects in many areas of the province including Bolan, Quetta, Ziarat and Harnai with the cost of seven hundred and forty three million rupees. These projects include health, education, water supply schemes, electricity and gas supply and infrastructure development. Pakistan Army and FC Balochistan (North) are providing security cover to these projects. According to MPCL Regional Manager Intisab Naseer, around forty five houses were constructed for deserving people which were destroyed due to floods. He further said job opportunities were also provided to locals. The people of Balochistan are being taken forward in terms of education and development as they are benefiting from resources of province. The benefits of all these resources reaching the local people refute propaganda that the natural resources of the province are not contributing to the progress of the province. Sindh Governor approves provincial budget 2024-25
