Sikh pilgrims in Hassanabdal to attend Ranjit Singh’s death anniversary
As many as 447 Indian Sikh pilgrims have arrived at the Gurdwara Punja Sahib in Hassanabdal to participate in rituals in connection with the 185th death anniversary of Maharaja Ranjit Singh. Upon arrival, the pilgrims were welcomed by officials of the Evacuee Trust Property Board and the Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee. On this occasion, Sikh Yatrees expressed satisfaction over arrangements made by the governement. AJK PM terms Modi’s visit to IIOJK as attempt to hoodwink world
Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq has described Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's recent visit to the illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir as an attempt to hoodwink the international community. In a statement, he said that Modi's visit was tantamount to rubbing salt on the wounds of Kashmiris who are facing religions atrocities at the hands of occupation forces. He said that the Kashmiri people were rejected such visits that were intended to project an all-encompassing portrait of Kashmir. Referring to Modi and his party's communal politics, the PM criticized that during the recently concluded elections, Modi consistently used anti-Muslim and anti-Pakistani rhetoric. Security forces seize 1037MT drugs during operation against narcotics
Security forces have seized 1037 metric tons of drugs in the countrywide operation against narcotics since September last. During the ongoing operation, 1538 drug dealers have also been arrested. According to details, 4,847 kg of drugs were recovered from Balochistan, 83 kg from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 161 kg from Gilgit-Baltistan, 56 kg from Punjab and 38 kg from Sindh during this month.
