Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi has issued 509 visas to Sikh pilgrims from India to attend the death anniversary of Maharaja Ranjeet Singh. Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has said the program of Field Hospital and Clinic on Wheels is being expanded across the province. Talking to a delegation of members of provincial assembly in Lahore today, she said the health sector is priority of the government. She further said upgradation of basic health centers across the province is in its final stages. Sindh cabinet has accorded approval of over three trillion rupees budget proposals for financial year 2024-25. The meeting was presided over by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah. The meeting discussed the proposals of increase in salaries and pension. Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) in collaboration with District Administration and Health Department organized a free medical camp at Ubauro Tehsil in Ghotki district. The aim of the free medical camp was to provide free medical treatment and other facilities to the local people. Medical examination of more than one thousand patients was conducted at the camp. They patients were also provided with medicines. Senior Minister of Punjab Marriyum Aurangzeb has said the provincial government has presented people-friendly budget. Addressing a post-budget conference along with Punjab Finance Minister Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman in Lahore today, she said the provincial government has taken important steps for the people during three months. She said no new tax has been levied in the budget. Marriyum Aurangzeb said Punjab government is focusing on health, agriculture and other sectors to benefit people of the province.
