Around 846 Sikh pilgrims from India, led by Sardar Gurbachan Singh, arrived in Lahore today via Wagah border to participate in the Jor Mela in commemoration of death of the fifth Guru, Arjun Dev Ji. Punjab Minister and Chairman of the Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee, Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora, along with Additional Secretary Shrines Saifullah Khokhar, welcomed the guests. Later, talking to the media, Punjab Minister Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora said that the Evacuee Trust Property Board has made elaborate arrangements for Sikh yatrees arriving from India and around the world. Deputy PM in Trkiye to attend Extraordinary D-8 CFM meeting
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar has arrived in Istanbul, Trkiye to attend the Extraordinary Meeting of the D-8 Council of Foreign Ministers. On arrival in Istanbul, the Deputy Prime Minister was received by Deputy Governor of Istanbul Mustafa Asim Alkan and Pakistan's Ambassador to Trkiye, Yousaf Junaid. The D-8 Foreign Ministers will deliberate upon the shared responsibility of the international community to bring an urgent and unconditional ceasefire, and an end to the inhumane and unjustified war on the people of Gaza.
