Addressing a public gathering at Haramosh Village in Gilgit, Deputy Commissioner, Gilgit Usama Majeed Cheema called upon people to follow the guidelines of National Command and Operation Center and vaccinate their family members above twelve years of age.

Sindh decision led to hike in wheat flour price: Mahmood Maulvi

Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Maritime Affairs Mahmood Maulvi says the price of flour in Sindh has increased because Sindh government did not release wheat to flour mills.

In a video statement, he said flour is being sold at 70 to 75 rupees per kilogram in Karachi while the price in Punjab is 57 to 58 rupees per kg. He said there is no shortage of wheat and the federal government is also importing wheat to cater needs of the people of country.

By-elections held In LA-3, LA-12 constituencies of AJK peacefully

Polling for the by-elections at Mirpur LA-3, and Charhoi LA-12 Kotli-V seats of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly were held in a free, fair and peaceful atmosphere on Sunday.

The seat of LA-3, Mirpur-III had fallen vacant due to Barrister Sultan Mahamood Choudhry's election as AJK President and LA-12 (Charhoi) Kotli-V had fallen vacant due to the resignation of Ch.Muhammad Yasin from one out of two seats. AJK Chief Election Commissioner Abdul Rasheed Sulehriya and other officials closely monitored the election process throughout the day by visiting scores of the polling stations.

Govt allocates fund of Rs189b for development of Southern Punjab: Buzdar

Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar says the PTI government has allocated a fund of 189 billion rupees for development of Southern Punjab.

He was talking to Minister of State for Climate Change Zartaj Gul, who met him in Lahore on Sunday.

Overall political situation and clean and green Pakistan program were discussed during the meeting.

The Chief Minister said the present government is planting trees in urban as well as far flung areas.
