Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev Set for Two-Day Visit to Pakistan

Islamabad: Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev is scheduled to arrive in Pakistan tomorrow for a two-day state visit at the invitation of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. His visit aims to strengthen the bilateral relations between the two countries.

According to Radio Pakistan, President Mirziyoyev will be accompanied by a high-level delegation that includes senior cabinet ministers and notable business leaders. The delegation will engage in discussions to enhance cooperation across various sectors.

During his visit, President Mirziyoyev will meet with President Asif Ali Zardari and hold delegation-level talks with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. Additionally, he will address the Pakistan-Uzbekistan Business Forum, highlighting the importance of economic collaboration.

The agenda for the discussions includes reviewing the broad spectrum of bilateral relations and exploring opportunities for deeper cooperation in trade, energy, defence, education, people-to-people exchanges, and regional connectivity.

This marks President Mirziyoyev's second visit to Pakistan, underscoring the growing ties between the two nations. The relationship is based on shared history, beliefs, and aspirations for peace and prosperity in Central and South Asia.
