Faisalabad: Chairman of the Pakistan Ulema Council, Hafiz Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi, has emphasized that unity, dialogue, and justice are the foundations of a strong and peaceful Pakistan. Addressing a conference of scholars and clerics in Faisalabad, he expressed confidence in Pakistan’s armed forces and leadership, asserting their capability to safeguard the country’s sovereignty and stability.
According to Radio Pakistan, Ashrafi highlighted the importance of peace and harmony, which can be achieved by strengthening institutions and promoting systems based on justice. He pointed out the significant sacrifices Pakistan has made in the fight against terrorism and reiterated the country’s commitment to continue efforts for regional peace.
Furthermore, Ashrafi called on neighboring Afghanistan to contribute constructively towards stability and to prevent elements that threaten peace.
