UN: Russia, Denmark Declare Fitna-al-Khawarij as Major Threat

Islamabad: The declaring of Fitna-al-Khawarij by Russia and Denmark as a serious threat to Central and South Asia, has validated Pakistan’s stance.

According to Radio Pakistan, in a meeting of the UN Security Council, Russia and Denmark have warned the international community about the malicious intentions of the Fitna-al-Khwarij.

Russia’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, highlighted that the presence of terrorist organizations in Afghanistan has intensified risks of destabilization in the neighboring countries. He noted that there are also threats of terrorism spilling over from Afghanistan to Central Asia and beyond.

Denmark’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Christina Markus Lassen, stated that the proscribed TTP (Fitna al Khawarij) receives substantial support from Afghan government-like officials.
