Islamabad: Ulema of different religious schools of thoughts have strongly denounced the bomb blast on Imambargah in Islamabad, and reaffirmed their unwavering solidarity against terrorism. They were addressing a news conference in Islamabad this afternoon, led by Chairman Pakistan Ulema Council Allama Tahir Ashrafi.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Ulema stated that the entire Pakistani nation is united alongside its security forces to defeat the terrorist elements. Allama Tahir Ashrafi emphasized Pakistan's long-standing support for Afghan refugees, highlighting the country's decades-long hospitality that mirrors the historical example of Ansaar-e-Madina.
He further condemned Afghanistan's involvement in terrorism within Pakistan, questioning if this was the manner in which Afghanistan chose to reciprocate Pakistan's sacrifices and generosity.
